He is committed to staying at the forefront of the field, regularly taking postgraduate courses to ensure he’s using the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments. Ultimately, his mission is simple: to help you build a healthy, lasting relationship with your body so you can prevent injuries and recover stronger. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Chris hiking, surfing, snorkeling, running, and working out. He also enjoys cooking healthy meals from a variety of cultures and staying grounded through meditation.
Philosophy
Most things in life are a balancing act. The goal is to find the optimal balance in our work, daily life, diet, exercise, recreation, and spirit.
Our bodies require a mix of flexibility and strength to function well. Injuries, overuse, and sedentary lifestyles can throw that mix into disarray. Chris excels at assessing where your body may be out of balance and at increased risk of further injury.
Chris relies on his extensive training and experience in the field of physical therapy and believes that for treatment to be truly successful, a balanced partnership between client and therapist must be developed. He listens carefully and focuses his plan on each client’s specific goals. Treatments are comprehensive, realistic, and based on the particular needs of each person.
